Carol Campbell

Carol Campbell is a women’s advocate using education, artistic endeavors and musical performance to increase awareness and raise funds to support critical programs and charities here and abroad.

For three years Carol has enjoyed her work on XM-Sirius satellite radio. As a regular contributor to the hit broadcast, Broadminded, Carol empowers listeners through “intuitive counseling” by calling on myth, images and stories to find answers to issues related to body image, relationships and new opportunities. Recently, Carol co-produced and acted in a sell-out benefit production of Eve Ensler’s award winning Vagina Monologues. Funds were raised to help stop violence against women and girls. Currently, Carol is furthering the cause of helping women and girls with the advancement of her latest benefit project, The Goddess Diaries, a theatrical production which premiered in January 2010. The Diaries has raised thousands of dollars to help women and their families and most recently reached a national stage this summer.

Carol has twenty years of experience in women’s health education and counseling, including inspiring and coaching women through Crone Stones, a meditation tool which uses sacred stories and goddess mythology. The much anticipated publication, Return to Wellness: The New Book of Crone Stones, is now available through Barclay Bryan Press.

Locally, Carol is proud of her work in the community. She facilitates coursework in feminist theology – sessions dedicated to goddess history, philosophy and art. She conducts one-on-one counseling sessions and groups, bringing goddess imagery and ritual to the community.

Combining counseling with her love of mythology she created Crone Stones. “I created Crone Stones while going through a healing period. I experienced a type of energy that channeled itself into the images on the stones, Crone Stones reflect the energy patterns I had recently been witness to.” Crone Stones have received notice from such national media as The Washington Post, SageWoman Magazine and New Age Retailer.

She lives in Northern Virginia with her husband, David, and their two daughters.
