David Caplan is the Los Angeles-based managing editor of TooFab.com, a new celebrity news website launched by Telepictures Production that features breaking news and covers the aspirational aspect of celeb life. Prior to TooFab.com, David was People Magazine’s New York-based Senior Editor for the magazine’s Scoop section. David has previously worked for VH1 News, Women’s Wear Daily and Star Magazine.

He is a regular television and radio contributor, who reports and comments about all aspects of celebrity culture, the entertainment industry, and, in general, pop culture. David has been the face of many breaking news stories, including the deaths of Heath Ledger, Michael Jackson and Anna Nicole Smith, as well as the relationship woes of Sandra Bullock and Tiger Woods. His TV experience has spanned the spectrum to include morning shows such as The Today Show and the CBS Early Show to CNN’s Larry King Live, AC 360, The Situation Room with Wolf Blitzer and HLN’s Joy Behar Show.

David is also a professional member of the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences’ New York Chapter.
